Steven Dean Stinnette

Steven Dean Stinnette, age 59, more affectionately called “Goob” by his favorite people, met Jesus face-to-face on September 18, 2021. Steven fought a courageous battle against cancer and ultimately won. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He cherished his time in nature and was passionate about sharing this love with his friends and family. Though many never saw it through his tough exterior, Steven was generous and gave often to others. He had a great love for children and was most proud of his grandchildren. Left to continue his legacy and cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years, Wendy, and his daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Josh Williams, and their children Turner and Stevie. In addition, he is survived by his parents Don and Wilma Stinnette, brothers Kenneth (Michelle), Thomas (Dena) and several nieces and nephews.  Left to carry on “the hunt” are several great friends-you know who you are.

Visitation will be held at Steven’s home on Monday September 20, 2021 from 4-6 pm.  A private service will be held at a later date.
