Sandy Splawn

Sandy VanDyke Splawn, age 62, of Rutherfordton, passed away, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Sandy was born Saturday, September 5, 1959, in Rutherford County to Judy Parton who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Guy VanDyke.  Sandy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the beach.  Sandy will be greatly missed by many that knew her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Starr.

Those left to cherish her memory include a loving daughter Stacy Dobbins (Jason), a brother, Jody VanDyke (Briana), seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

There are no formal services planned at this time.
