Ricky Lingerfelt

Ricky Eugene Lingerfelt, age 60, of Kings Mountain, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Atrium Health Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.

Ricky was born September 10, 1960 in Gaston County to the late Luther Lingerfelt and Ruth Barrett Clary.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Ricky loved the beach and Clearwater, Florida, he loved rock and roll music and his dogs, Tiny, Peppy, Oscar and Girl.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Donna Lingerfelt, Debbie Gosnell, and Stella Putnam.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Richard Alan Lingerfelt (Kristina) of Clearwater, Florida; daughter, Amber Bollinger (Eric) of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Chandler, RJ, Rosella, and Lucas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.
