Paul Alan Parker, Sr.

     Paul Alan Parker born May 25, 1960 in Edinburg, New York and passed away in Shelby, North Carolina May 25, 2024.

     He was preceded in death by his father Nelson Earl Parker January 20, 2011.

     Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife and best friend Kathy Marcum Parker of Fort Gay West Virginia.  Son Paul Alan Parker II and wife Ashley of Reynoldsburg Ohio, son Zachary Keaton Parker and wife Ali of Fort Gay West Virginia, son Andrew (Andy) Nelson Parker of Fort Gay WV. Mother Beulah Parker of Newton North Carolina

     His precious grandchildren, KayLeigh Parker and Fiancé Cody Runyon of Louisa Kentucky.

Sister Diane Jane College of St Augustine Florida.

Sister Brenda Goldie Ball of Georgetown Delaware.

Sister Eunice Dorothy Copley and husband Don of Newton North Carolina.

     He will be missed by multiple nieces and nephews. Especially Jonathan Copley (Wynonna) who shared his birthday, niece Heather Copley Wilson (Josh) and Michael Copley who loved it when his uncle would pick him up from school on his Harley and take him to Iron Thunder.

     Paul had so many passions in life, being a long-distance truck driver, his Harley and fishing. He loved making baskets, woodworking and crocheting. In the late 70s he also fought forest fires in Washington and Oregon.

     Paul had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed.
