Maribeth McDaniel

      Maribeth McDaniel, 81, of Shelby, NC, formally of Jonesboro, AR, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

      She was born April 26, 1942, to the late John and Essie Elizabeth Stacy. Maribeth was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved doing woodwork and finding new recipes and trying them out. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

     Maribeth is survived by her children: Melissa Tubbs of Shelby, NC, Michael Hubbard and wife, Connie of Waxahachie, TX, Lorri Bridges and husband, Vance of Shelby, NC, and Danny Baker and wife, Rebecca of Ash Flat, AR; her sister, Nancy Havner of Rock Spring, GA; her brother James (Buddy) Stacy, of Harrisburg, AR; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one on the way.

     The family would like to thank all of the nurses of Hospice and the Nurses and Caregivers at Somerset Court who took such good care of her above and beyond.
