Marianna Alicia Woods

     Ms. Marianna Alicia Woods, age 23, of Shelby, NC, passed away Monday September 18, 2023.

     Marianna was born Wednesday, February 9, 2000 in Cleveland County to Deanna Gettys and Robert Woods Sr., both of Shelby, NC. Marianna graduated from Crest High School.  She loved to sing, read, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

     She was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Jayden Woods, maternal grandparents, Mary Gettys and Billy Littlejohn, paternal grandparents, Beulah Woods and Clarence Daniels, and a cousin, Bryson Rogers.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, along with four brothers, Robert Woods, Jr. (Hanna), Andrew Declue, Timothy Woods, and Darius Woods; two sisters, Monique Oats and Breanna Woods.  Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles who loved her,

     A gathering of friends and immediate family will be from 2:00 – 4:00pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory.  The family will also do a balloon release on Friday evening at 6:0pm at the Shelby City Park.
