Jeffrey Dean Kester

    Jeffrey Dean Kester, age 36, of Cherryville, NC, passed away Thursday, January 25. 2024.

     Jeffrey was born Wednesday, April 1, 1987, in Lincoln County to Harold Kester and Janice Helms Kester. Jeffrey loved sports, he also loved to sew. Jeffrey was an artsy and creative person. He loved spending time with his family. Jeffrey will be missed by all that knew him.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles, and Frances Kester.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Harold Kester, Janice Kester; sister, Wendy Gantt (Mark Towell), brother-in-law, Roger Gantt; niece Brooke Gantt (Nick Norton); nephew, Austin “Bob” Gantt (Alexa Snipes); two great nephews, Beckhum Gantt, and Jace Snipes; he also left behind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     There will be a memorial service held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Crouse Baptist Church, Crouse NC.  Receiving friends and family from 1:00 - 1:30 pm.  Service will follow.
