Jayson Lafurge

Jayson Charles LaFurge, age 19, of Stanley, NC passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Jayson was born Wednesday, February 16, 2003, in Orange County, New York to Sherry L. Curry. Jayson was a graduate of East Gaston High School, class of 2022. He loved and was a big fan of martial arts. Jayson was very caring person. He had a big heart and enjoyed helping people. Jayson will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Sherry L. Curry, his stepfather, Shaun Town, Sr.; father, Nelson LaFurge; sister, Ashlynn Town, brother, Shaun Town, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Cheryl Curry, James Curry, and Barbara; paternal grandmother, Levia LaFurge; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private service will be held for Jayson.
