Ellis Gwinn, Jr.

Ellis Robert “Robbie” Gwinn, Jr., age 45, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Monday, December 5, 2022.

Robbie was born Friday, April 15, 1977, in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Ellis Robert Gwinn, Sr. and Barbara Jean Cowan Gwinn who resides in Rutherfordton, Robbie was a graduate of R.S. Central High School.  He also earned an associates degree from Gardner Webb University.   Robbie enjoyed being with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his father, Robbie was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rob and Marybell Cowan, paternal grandparents, Cliff, and Nadine Gwinn.

Those left to cherish his memory is his mother, Barbara Jean Gwinn, two brothers, Neal Tomblin (Kim), Robert Tomblin, sister, Wendy Gwinn Durre, a niece and nephews.
