Donald Mark Turner

     Mr. Donald Mark Turner, age 62, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023.

     He is survived by his children, Michelle Byrd, Joey Dalton (Heather), James and John Ellason; brothers, his twin, Ronnie Turner (Cindy), Myron Turner (Sharon), Randy Turner; sisters, Regina Thompson, Wanda Painter (Robbie), Emily Hutchins (Tim); plus, a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

      Born March 22, 1961, in Spartanburg, SC, Donald was the son of the late George Washington Turner and Gladys Arlee (Waters) Turner. and was preceded in death by a brother, Archie Turner.

     Donald loved fishing, racing but most of all he loved spending time with his twin brother, Ronnie. He attended Riverside Baptist Church. Donald was a man with a good heart, he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Riverside Baptist Church, with Rev. Ted Blankenship officiating.
