Daniel Lee "Danny" Burnette

    Daniel Lee “Danny” Burnette, age 64, of Lawndale, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at Atrium Health Cleveland.  He was born August 30, 1959, in Salem County, New Jersey to the late Grady Henry and Frances Edith Gaffney Burnette.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Danny was skilled in construction work and was a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed playing darts and pitching horseshoes.  His greatest pastime was spending time with his family.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Danny Bivens; brother-in-law, Ray Haynes; cousin, Samuel Burnette; and nephew, Pedro Pardo.

     Survivors include his wife, Teresa Haynes Burnette; children, Shasta Bivens, Daniel Lee Burnette, Jr. and wife, Ciara, and Brian Anthony Burnette and wife, Carla; grandchildren, Nathan K. Black, Steven Black, Austin Black, Shayla Burnette, Brayten Burnette, Jazzy Burnette, and Addy Burnette; great grandchildren, Crimson, Violet, and Hopper Black; siblings, Sherry Burnette, Buddy Burnette, Louann Oakes, Laura Dover, Dewayne Burnette, Donna Toms, Brenda Toms, and Barb Hess; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     A memorial service will be held at Blessed Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Dover officiating on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Burial will be private.
