Clifford Scoggin

Clifford Barton Scoggin, age 61, of Cherryville, NC passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Clifford was born Tuesday, September 19, 1961, in Cleveland County to Robert Scoggin who resides in San Diego, California, and the late Delores Dovre Scoggin. He worked in construction most of his life. Clifford was a caring and loving father, grandfather, and brother. He loved to travel and loved listening to music. Clifford loved music so much he was learning to play the guitar. He worked hard and loved his family. Clifford will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Dustin Scoggin (Leigh); stepson, Jas Taylor (Lauren); brothers; Bob Scoggin, Jr. (Ginger), Steven Scoggin (Connie); grandchildren, Kensyn Scoggin, Owen Archibald, and Emilia Padgett.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory.
