Charles Bone

Charles Michael Bone, age 84, of Belmont, NC, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Charles was born Monday, February 21, 1938 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late John George Bone and Mary Gladys Tankersley Bone.  He was a loving dad and grandfather. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He worked as a Nuclear Turbine Welder for most of his life. Charles loved to fish.  He was an avid golfer.  Charles lived everyday of his life to the fullest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Bone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving daughter, Debra Bone; two grandchildren, Amy Skibo (Matthew), Charles Skibo (Christina); and three great grandchildren.

The memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Olney Presbyterian Church, 251 Olney Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056.  The family will receive friends at 10:30 am, thirty minutes before the service.
