Brian "Bird" Haynie

Brian Keith Haynie, age 55 of Dallas, NC passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Brian was born Tuesday, August 2, 1966 in Gaston County to the late Samuel Haynie II and Linda Barnett Haynie. Brian loved his family and his animals.  He had five dogs that he loved dearly. Brian enjoyed the outdoors and always spoke with an outdoor voice.  He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Haynie III, Steven Haynie and Stoney Haynie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Brian Lee Haynie and wife Morgan; two brothers, Jerry Haynie and wife, Sube, and Jimmy Haynie; three grandchildren, Brylee Haynie, Coraline Haynie and Kenlee Haynie; special friends, Tammy and Terry Begley, his five furry friends; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022at the Southminister Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dan Oedy officiating.
