Bernard "Buddy" Murphy, Iii

Bernard “Buddy” Gale Murphy, III, age 51 of Kings Mountain, NC passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland formerly Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC.

He was born in Hollywood, Florida, to Sue Morrow Murphy and the late Bernard “B.G.” Gale Murphy, Jr.

Buddy was a graduate of Troy State University, Alabama.  He loved the Lord, music and baseball.  He was an active member of Pleasant City Church of Shelby.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, three aunts and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be made to your favorite charity.

Buddy’s graveside inurnment will be held at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.
