Benny Gold Foster

   Mr. Benny Gold Foster, age 55 of Cherryville, NC, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Atrium Health in Shelby.

   He is survived by his children, Keasha Brackett (AJ) of Kings Mountain, NC, Amber Foster, Aaron Foster, and Ashton Foster of Cherryville, NC, four grandchildren, Kaydence, Addisyn, and Lilly, all of Kings Mountain, NC, and Nevaeh Foster, three brothers, Steve Foster (Amy) of Kings Mountain, NC, Bobby Foster of Grover, NC, and Jason Hannon of Cherryville, NC, three sisters, Patricia Arnold of Franklin, NC, Sandy Phillips (Robby) of Cherryville, NC, and Penny Foster of Grover, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

   Born March 24, 1968, in Lincoln County, NC, Benny was the son of Patricia Houck Hannon and the late Donald Gold Foster.  Benny was a loving, kind, and giving person.  He enjoyed fishing, playing jokes on people and working on small engines.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
